Academic Curriculum

Graduates form FICAS have adequate ability to pursue for next higher study level in both national and international schools because all academic Curriculum of FICAS are carefully and technically designed by adapting to international standard, educational theories and practices, and Cambodian national curriculum.

Examination

Assessment is critically important to measure and monitor student’s depth of understanding and achievement. FICAS assures technically responsive assessment methods including on-going formative assessment such as quizzes, homework, assignment, monthly and trimester examination, and summative assessment such as Semester examination. These assessment methods will help improve and development student’s academic progress and achievement after completing each grade level.

Teachers

FICAS has effective recruitment policy for selecting the best teachers in the Country. Criteria for selection are Native English speaker, pedagogical qualification, minimum 3 years of teaching experience, and caring for children. What is more, FICAS continuously develops teacher’s competence to keep up with changing educational trend and enhance teaching quality.

Learning Materials and facilities

FICAS provides adequate and relevant learning materials in every class and for every subject at every grade level. Those materials include computers, musical instruments such as Piano and guitar, tennis table and basket balls for physical education, taekwondo equipment, microscopes and apparatus for science subject and up-to-date international course books from officially well-known book distributor, Long Learning.

Extra Curricula

Focusing only on in-class activities and content-based education is insufficient for attaining full academic competence after graduating; therefore, FICAS is offering local life skill subject, project work, field trip, and community engagement besides the academic year to equip students with life skills and hands-on experience, which is technically and academically beneficial and effective in fulfilling authentic academic abilities within students.

CMA Mental Arithmetic

FICAS and CMA jointly offer Mental Arithmetic short course to students who prefer improving and developing their mathematic skills such as critical thinking, and different techniques in calculating quickly and effortlessly. These skills are valuable for children’s future such as to become talented business person and high ranking officers in various companies.

FICAS has long been partnering with Delta College in USA. Delta College is one of the best college in United States, which has produced many great graduates including attorney Eugene Mossner of Frankenmuth and Michigan State Senator James Stamas of Midland. Partnership between FICAS and Delta college offers opportunity for Students who are outstanding with their academic achievement and who want to pursue for higher education and experience different culture and life.
